The dropdown box forces you to select correct field names.

This Import window only support excel files , why discriminate on beloved CSV files ?

FYI: We did a lot work with accountants they do have endless love for excel

First question they always ask how to export it to excel?

Haha excel is beloved. My life became easy when I switched most reporting to excel , ignoring pdf and low code tools . 

but I like csv for its speed !
