Calculations - Constant Assign

Hi,
I am trying to introduce a new column in csv containing value "By You"

I (using chatgpt) create a calculation transformation , use pascal  When I run this , I get the right result in Calculation Window

In Transformation window , when I try to run this using Process Data , no value is assigned

The final output also has blank values

Question we can do regular expressions also here?

We always tell our customers to await using calculations because the are slow.

In your case lookup transformation is much better option.

Regarding regular expression yes it is possible to use it

GOT IT. I just tried a CSV lookup , was quite awesome. Thanks for suggesting it

I assume there will be no speed difference in looking up a CSV file or a xlsx file ?
