Customized log file

Is there currently an option customize output that is written to the log?
For example, add the value of some variable of that moment of execution or remove an unnecessary value...

There is no such option for a visual importer at the moment.
Which log are you talking about?

There are a lot of logs
Import log
Overall Package log
Individual package actions logs

I meant mainly Overall Package log. It is very difficult to trace the problem using this log at the moment. I especially miss the specific ones variables values. It is clear to me that they cannot all be there so that the log does not have an infinity of pages, but the option of choice is missing..

What if we write all variables into the log before every action execution and once the package execution is finished?
(We will add a check box called 'Write package variables to package log' to the options dialogue)

That sounds really good! The only risk I see is that the log will be too large and thus confusing for users. But I am OK with this solution, there is CTRL+F after all
