I assume it did happen when you try to copy an object over

Can you tell me which kind of object you tried to copy?

Hi Mike.

Didn't get that far. Started the wizard selected source as 'backup' found the .dat file from a recent backup. Then chose the target type as SQL Server, selected the database (which I had just created as new) then hit Next and received the error.

AM I right in assuming that this works using the Backup created from the AETL Maintenance Tab? As that is what I am using.

Thanks

That is correct.

We will try to reproduce the problem in the office and get back to you

Thanks. Lost a package today (Human Error I believe) and wanted to recover it. If it helps, we are on SQL Server 2016 Windows OS Server 2012. I actually ran this from AETL Desktop running on server as it is closer to the backup files

Well if it is still there you can recover using the version control

We will eventually create a recycle bin so it would be easy to recover from accidental deletion
