I was wondering if you would consider adding some extra System Variables? In particular one to identify the Package Group Name.

As per www.etl-tools.com/wiki/advanced-etl-proc.../packages/variables/ we and which we use in various IT emails to help identify the ETL Package that ran. But to give a bit more transparency to where the Package lives it would be helpful to have as well of possible.

Also, I was wondering if you had ever considered having a Variable Type that was actually a LIST rather than just a string. I realise I could use a delimited string for what I want to do but that then leads to scripting.

For example, we may get a batch a batch of files from a partner. Some of which we need to transform, but we need o store all of them. I wanted to have a memory variable that say held a list of 'codes' that are embedded in the inbound filename. Then during the package run I may want to check that list with a single action (rather than write some script to parse a delimited string) to see if a specific filename (aka code) came in and if it did then do something else.

This is a rather cobbled together scenario and not necessarily real. But I hope you get the idea.
