JDBC / JAVA Issues was created by IMS
Whenever we try to configure a JDBC connection and test it, we always get an error back that the Java 16 runtime not found.

We have verified that the system variables are properly set on the system and path and Java is definitely working on the machine but AEPE cannot seem to find the Java home and I can't seem to find any other settings in the product to specifically configure the Java location.

We urgently need to resolve this as we have a new data source that is only available via JDBC.

Mike -

I uninstalled the JDK 64-bit we had and installed both the 32-bit and 64-bit Java per your suggestion and it seems to have resolved the issue with it saying there was no Java runtime installed when trying to configure a JDBC connection from with in AETLE.

Thanks for the help.

PS - Not exactly sure why both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Java are both required though. It would make sense to use 64-bit exclusively on a 64-bit machine and 64-bit version of AETLE.

None the less, installing both seems to fix it - I'm guessing just installing the 32-bit JRE alone might have done the trick but I forgot to stop and test that theory before jumping to also install 64-bit JRE.
