ETL Agent Error

We are getting below error which cause Production ETL stuck. Please advise 
ETL Server - Execution Agent (32bit) - Cannot open file "C:\ProgramData\ETL-Tools.com\Options.ini". The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process

Looking at it now

There is some process which has locked Options.ini file.

It can be our software or something else for example antivirus or backup software.

You can check the process using Process explorer

click find => find handle or dll



If you kill the process the agent should start working again.



 

One thing I've noticed once agent is stuck it is not possible to stop the service.
So the only solution is to reboot the server which is not ideal.
I am looking at what can be done about it right now.
 

I have fixed the agent issues and published a new release.
I have also noticed that Options.ini was being updated far too often that was fixed as well.

6.4.2.33 Version is rather old and since than we have added a lot of new features so if you decide upgrade please test everything first.

As alternative you may try replacing agent exe  with a new version
