Hello,
One of my clients needs to transform multiple excel files and each file has 1 or more sheets ( all have the same name plus date) and want the output to go to one file. Is this possible? I know reading multiple files is possible but its been a while since I have done that and was wondering if you have a tutorial on how to do that or you can show me. Let me know if you have any questions or need additional information.

This can be easily done by using a mask.

Thank you peter, I think I'm going to use a file operation in a package to do this so I can log and trace. I do have another issue, not sure if it is a bug or something I'm doing wrong. So I'm transforming multiple files into one file. In the writer, I'm specifying to add data into existing file ad leave it as it is, add data starting from - last row. This works fine except for the first file/sheet I add. It creates 2 empty rows at the top after the header. I made sure the file only has header information (2 rows) and cleared the rest of the sheet. Attached is some screen shots, please let me know if you need additional information.

Have tried deleting rows from the file?

Excel is rather tricky to work with.
The row looks empty but actually, it is not

Yes I have, I also deleted the columns at the far end and still - I will keep playing with it and see if I can figure it out. Let me know if you have any ideas I can try
