I am seeking assistance on how to upgrade the application without losing all the configuration and designs on our device.

Hi Oscar

Assuming that your repository type is MS SQL SERVER

1 Create repository backup
2 Stop AETL windows services
3 Run update script if necessary
www.etl-tools.com/repository-database-updates.html
4 Install AETL on top of existing version.

If you have multiple instances of AETL connected to the same repository you have to install AETL on all of then

We've been using SQL BackupMaster from sometime now , it's essentially setup and forget , allows you take daily/weekly backups and sync to a remote device. It's one of the software which you forget exists on your system & it keeps on working !

Nice ! I had no clues you could backup repository so simply with the backup button
