Issues with pdf export

Hi,

we are using ATE version 5.3.1.27.

When we use the pdf export, the pdf file isn't displayed correctly on some computers.
If I open the document with the latest version of Acrobat Reader, it shows strange symbols, as you can see in the attached screenshot.
If I open the document with a browser like Microsoft Edge, the dates aren't shown correctly.

On my device the documents are shown correctly in Acrobat Reader.The issue only occurs on some devices and it only occurs with the documents created through ATE pdf export.

Do you have an idea what could be the cause of this issue?

I can assume that some fonts are missing.
How do you generate pdf?
Are you using report builder?

Yes, I am using report builder to create the document.
And then users are generating the pdf via "Export to PDF" in the report.

Can you try selecting embedded fonts?

The "embedded fonts" option fixed the issue.

We will try to tweak our software and make it selected by default
