Transformation Validator Set Package Variable

Hi

We have a scenario where we have a transformation validator action that checks that a value exists in the database and if not, it aborts the transformation. There are other reasons why the transformation would abort, and that reason would typically get recorded in the "<Transformation Error>" post execution variable. However, if you have a validator with Abort on Error set, then there does not seem to be a way to populate <Transformation Error> with a user defined message, Such as Client Not Found.... or similar.

I know you can use the "X" of the Validator to change the transformation flow. But in this case, we would need to set the variable like you can do in the Package Designer and then Exit the Transformation in Error so that any calling package can then process <Transformation Error> appropriately.

cheers
