Update target datatypes

I had to extend the size of my target field from an NVARCHAR(10) to NVARCHAR(20) on the SQL database but the ETL is still failing because it seems the transformation still sees the target field as NVARCHAR(10). How do I update it?

It should work immediately.
What kind of errors are you getting?

Maybe you have spaces after the value
Perhaps you can try the trim function?

I think I found the problem. My source is a QVD and the transformation is reading the source field as a date when it should be a number. But not sure now how change it so if reads the Qlik field as a number?

In the data reader, the field is showing as a date/time but if I look at the value in the QVD using a QVD reader tool it shows the values as the correct decimal value.

See the example attached.

Hello

Check ignore format.

Dates are very tricky to work with

Please keep us posted on your progress
