Reports - How to load image from URL

How to load an image from URL ?

1. Let's assume we want to load a static image from wiki . HERE
2. Assume the URL is stored in a field called 'image_url' 
 

I have raised a support request with fast report let see what they would say.

Any replies from them?

They told us to use the data link but that did not work.

 

They than said that the firewall is blocking the image which is not the case. So we are stuck for now I am afraid 

Sigh , the customer service from FastReport is really meh !

I have got chatgpt in mean time to write a script to download the files to local directory and then run , I am of course running into more problems, questions in a new post  

Since we have source code we can in theory use debugger and find out what is wrong.

We are updating wiki and retesting all new Dynamic actions at the moment.
