Auto Grid in Reader/Writer

Hellos,

Trying to create few HTML tables with long inputs and outputs and I keep scrolling left right to resize the column, can I request for the AUTO grid button found in PIVOT window?

 
 

That was already implemented.

Right lick and you will see "Auto format grid"

I am imagining the grid should snap/resize in to place with AUTO grid  is clicked . Making columns width smaller.

Clearly having a brain fart moment , can't figure , when I click on Auto Format Size, I am not seeing grid become smaller .

In fact If I go in Show Definition , make the culprit Field length small (which seem enough in my case as of now), then go back to Show Data and click on Auto Format Grid , it becomes default size  . VIDEO

 

Auto format calculates maximum field value/name length in characters and sets width appropriately

So if this value is 600 characters it sets the with to the value which allows user to see all characters
