xls-json-api

Hello Mike,

After the xml worked so well, I already have the next task.
It's about converting data from an Excel into json and then uploading it via an API interface with OAuth v2.0 style authentication.

I haven't really found anything in the wiki, forum or in the examples that helps me

Do you have an example "lying around" that describes the conversion from xls to json?

The solution depends on the complexity of JSON file which we know nothing about

For very simple JSON files you can use JSON writer

Or you can use text writer and use JSON functions to build the JSON objects.

Another option is to use InPlace Replace transformation function

Or you might want to create one JSON file per excel file row

Sorry for the poor description.

It is sometimes very difficult for me to get started because ETL offers so many possibilities.

I have received an Excel file here. Which will later become a Qlik QVD.
 
Everything is to be solved via an API.

So basically what you to do it is

1 For every line in the excel file create a JOSN file 
  In Place replace I think is the best option (Use file system writer to create files )

2 Loop over created files and post them using HTTP Post Action

Authentication can be done by using HTTP Post Action action as well.

You may need to write some custom scripts
