Repository Permissions

Hi, we have AETL Repo installed on MS SQL Server and was created many years ago. Whilst your suggestion was to use SQL Authentication it seems we did it using Windows Integrated Authentication.

If we wanted to have the (new) devs use SQL Authentication - what permissions/roles should they be assigned to use PRO from their individual desktops? We also have ENT running on a server and it is using a different domain service account to rn the services themselves.

It's been a long time so I am just now a bit vague on the permissions side

we usually use db_owner role




 

Thanks Mike. That's what had thought but just wanted to check given what else that role could do. cheers
