Using Packages , transformation creates output in root of Connection Directory

Hellos,

I have a connection with directory called "OPENDAY" at C:\Users\Superadmin\Documents\KBIAutomation\OpenDayMaster

Using transformations manually , I am able to output the file to subdirectory . See output window below
C:\Users\Superadmin\Documents\KBIAutomation\OpenDayMaster\input 
 
 

When I use the above transformation as a part of package , the output will always be in root of Directory defined aka C:\Users\Superadmin\Documents\KBIAutomation\OpenDayMaster

If this expected behaviour ?

I kept failing with my package before I realised for 20 min solid , before I realised , I needed to make the new variable with subdirectory as the starting point of package.
