ODATA reader documentation

Hi,

Do you have any documentation on ODATA in the reader? I have a customer sending me odata in an email, so I'm planning on extracting the email body, saving as a file and then reading this using the ODATA reader and plonking it into a SQL server table. Am not having much luck getting the reader to behave at the moment, it seems to want to connect to a server.

Hi Andrew,

ODATA reader was created a long time ago. It downloads ODATA files from the internet.

ODATA has two formats XML and JSON Both can be transformed without ODATA reader.
(I do not think there is a need for a separate ODATA reader and we will disable it in the next release.)

Can we ask you to provide us with a couple of examples and we try our best to help you as usual.

This is rather simple just set the source type to JSON and you will be able to see the data

There is a number of JSON transformation functions you can use to extract the data.
