What is the process to upgrade from version 8.4.3.17 to the current version. I assume all of the existing packages will continue to function.

8.4.3.17 is a relatively old version
Here is a complete list of changes

I assume that your repository type is SQL server
Can you email us the backup of the repository please (SQL server backup) and we will do the conversion for you.

We recommend using a separate server for testing
