Stopping a load if the date format is invalid was created by Eron
Hello
Is there a way of aborting a load in the VI if it encounters an invalid date format? There’s an ‘On Error Abort’ setting but this doesn’t appear to apply to rejected dates.
One of our consultants has asked this question on behalf of a customer. He would like the option to abort the load after the first format error rather than wait for the full load to occur and look through the rejection entries. He also reports that clicking ‘Stop’ part-way through processing if he sees that rows are being rejected can hang the VI, so that’s not a workable option.
I’ve looked through the available options and I can’t tell if this is possible or not.
Thank you
