Hi,
I am using Visual Importer Enterprise to import data from QVDs to MS SQL database. I have a package with several importer scripts that does this job. Each importer script reads a QVD and imports it to a target table in database.

Yesterday the package failed for one of the importer scripts with the following error:

Error 12/08/2019 5:47:55 PM Execution of Import Script: PathologyResults Importer has failed
Error 12/08/2019 5:47:55 PM Access violation at address 000000000042F63E in module 'VImpEnt.exe'. Read of address 0000000000007328

What does this error mean ? There's no other information in the log files.

Also, the application becomes unresponsive and I have to kill it.

Thanks,
Vik

That means that our software is unable to read QVD file for some reason. Are you able to email it to us so we can investigate?

Its too large to be emailed at 2.4 GB.

I tried to do the run of just the importer script that failed and it worked. So, QVD can be read. I will probaly need to take a full package run again to test. I will let you know what happens then.

Thanks,
Vik

If you are using 32-bit version it might run out of memory so 64 bit is a better option.
