TLS Protocol

My Salesforce org has been identified as using the TLS 1.1 encryption protocol. This is only coming from my Visual Importer connection.

In order to align with industry best practices for security and data integrity, Salesforce is requiring we upgrade to TLS 1.2 by September 2019.

I've searched your site and I don't see anything specific to Visual Importer Enterprise and TLS encryption. What do I need to do so my connection from Visual Importer to Salesforce utilizes TLS 1.2?

We have just completed adding support for Amazon S3 and Azure Blob Storage and planning to start working on adding support for TLS 1.2 next week.

When TLS 1.2 support is added, will that require an upgrade to Visual Importer?

Yes, you would need to upgrade to Visual Importer.
