I have tried to switch from a Live to a Test server version. All this normally needs is to import a Backup file with different connection settings. Trying to do this returns the Wrong Repository Version message. There is essentially no difference between the Live and Test, other than usernames and passwords. When I try to check the connection in Options, clicking on Test brings the message Connected. Clicking on Reconnect, again gives Wrong Repository Version. If I use the Repository Synchronization Wizard, I select my repository, select the database, and click Finish. If I try the steps outlined above again, I get the same message. Any tips on what I'm doing wrong?

Hi Mike

Are you using the same user to connect to the repository as the one you used to create the repository?

this SQL is used to check if the repository was created.

select * from APPLICATION_SETTINGS.

imagine the following situation:

you used USER1 to create a repository

than you connect to the repository using USER2.

APPLICATION_SETTINGS table does not exist in the USER2 schema, therefore, the connection fails.

Please keep us posted on your progress
