TOPIC: Management Console for non-admins

Management Console for non-admins 1 year 3 months ago #18119

May I suggest the ability to allow non-admin users access to specific elements of management web console so that they can see the status of execution packages and transformations executed by the enterprise server service agents. In our case it would be used to provide them with the ability to view what has occured and what maybe in the queue occur next. They should not be able to change any settings other than those directly related to their view of the ETL queue.

Thanks

Thank you for your feedback, Bruce.

We will add it to our "to do list"

Security is a complex issue and we believe that it must be implemented for the entire product.

Hi Bruce.

We have spent some time improving the management console. It now supports multiple users.
List of users is stored in the repository.
At the moment every user is an Admin.
Default user name password is Administrator/Administrator.

Other changes are:
Excel-like table filters.
Table export.
Table column reordering.

I hope you like the changes, we will continue working on making our software better
