Hi

I was wondering if you might consider an enhancement to the Cloning tool so that you can clone a package parent and clone all of the child packages as per the screenshot. This would provide us with a more efficient way of using templated package sets. And if possible if there are dependencies in the set that they internal references are changed to reflect that.

So, in the screen shot you can see a suite of packages. They are actually linked. The Processor acts like a Mainline and will call the Collector Sub Package and then the Load Sub pack which in turn calls the Core Sub package and it calls the Transform sub package. This way each sub package performs a small chunk of work, and the environment is controlled by package variables.

If I can clone the whole suite in one go and have the internal references adjusted at the same time, then it will make templating much more affective.

thanks in advance
