TOPIC: SQL Syntax Provider not saved

SQL Syntax Provider not saved 3 years 11 months ago #15421

Hi guys,

I'm working with ODBC driver and files that do not support JOIN except on one table. Multi-table JOIN cause syntax errors. I have found that the ANSI SQL/89 works perfectly for it in the SQL Query Builder, but the setting for it always changes back to "Universal" when it's opened, i.e. the Syntax Provider is not saved between sessions. In my case I'm ONLY working with this particular ODBC driver inside a Virtual Machine so I will never use anything else. Any chance that it can be set to save/restore the setting?

The software calculates which syntax to use when dialog is created based on connection type if it is not possible to do that it uses universal.
We will leave as it is for now
Mike
