Import from Excel: Smart Mapping on Random Field Names was created by Antonio
Hello,
I have a question about creating a large excel import.
I would like to create a large excel import based on a much larger dataset. For example, I may have 10 fields I want to import that have consistent field names.
However, a client may only send me 7 of the 10 total fields.
Is there a way to make the import intelligent so that it can know to only work with the 7 fields based on the field name (not position)?
If possible, this would be a game-changer for me. I could create very intelligent imports from excel that worked very dynamically based on whatever field names were provided. If there is not a field provided, it would just come in assumed as Null.
Thank you,
Toni
