TOPIC: IMAP4 Reader Variables in Folder Names

IMAP4 Reader Variables in Folder Names 3 months 1 week ago #19715

Hi

I was wondering if Variables (in this case a Global One) are permitted in FOLDER names within the IMAP4 Reader. In my sample I was using a Global Variable but noticed that it failed to MOVE the message after processing but rather DELETED it - which was a surprise. When I looked further I found the error message indicating that the FOLDER did not exist and could not be created and I assume it is because of the "<>" in the name. I put this in expecting a GLOBAL variable to kick in - but it did not seem to.

So there appears to be 2 issues.

1. It could not use a Global Variable and
2. When it could not MOVE the message it simply DELETED it instead of raising an EXCEPTION

cheers
