TOPIC: If-Equal-To | How does it work?

If-Equal-To | How does it work? 1 month 1 week ago #19509

I have a text file where fields repeat every 12 rows, i.e. one record is a set of 12 consecutive rows.
In order to capture these fields I'm using the Sequence function, like so:

In this example, the 3rd row is stored in the first field, the 5th row in the second field, and so on.

The problem I'm experiencing is that the If-Equal-To function doesn't seem to be passing the Success value to the output. For instance, in the following example, the Sequence value is 3 and the first If-Equal-To is set to compare with this value; so I'm expecting the current row value "Address (symbol)" to be passed through the Keep Value function:

What am I missing?

Thanks.

You have to link something to failure for example null than it should work

You can also have a look at pivot/unpivot. It would be much simple transformation

Yes! Linking the Failure input from the If-Equal-To function to a Null function did the trick. Thank you.
