TOPIC: Scripting reference manual used in Calculation

Scripting reference manual used in Calculation 1 month 1 week ago #19508

I'm having trouble finding the reference manual for programming the scripts (Pascal and Python) used in the Calculation module.
For instance, I tried searching for GetPackageVariable in the Wiki, but didn't get any results.
Can someone please point me in the right direction?
Thanks.

Most of the new users immediately think that they must use scripts.
In most of the cases is not really necessary.
Perhaps you can tell us what are you trying to achieve and we will do our best to assist you?

Here is a scripting language documentation
www.etl-tools.com/wiki/aetle/scripting_language

GetPackageVariable is here for backward compatibility.
We may decide to include it in the documentation in the future.

Yes, as I discover more of the built-in functions, I realize that are a lot of them that can be used to conveniently replace scripts.
For instance, I was trying to solve a problem similar to the example Examples [Variables] \ Getting Customer ID from variable. The transformer uses a Calculation function to determine the record index. I later realized that, for my application, using the Sequence function would be much more convenient.

I see that the documentation was written for Pascal scripts. Is there a documentation for Python as well? If not, are there any examples?

Thanks.
