TOPIC: Multiple reader objects for same file

Multiple reader objects for same file 1 week 1 day ago #19420

Hi
we have a CSV file that has a

HEADER ROW
COLUMN HEADER ROW
DATA ROW(S)

We can easily ignore the first 2 rows and use the 2nd row for the field names.
BUT....
We need to ALSO use a value in the HEADER ROW which is a DATE and include it as a new column in each DATA ROW

Any Ideas?

I added another reader that read only the first row in the same transformation but it seems that it took on the attributes of the first reader and ignore the first 2 rows and started collecting data from there which is not the desired result.

So in summary we need to grab a value from the header row that is then saved along with the data in the rest of the rows starting whilst using the 2nd row as the field names.

Thanks in advance

Sorry for raising a query that has already been raised. I have found a few options in the Demo Project.

Thanks
