Windows Event log service, dhcp tcp/ip netbios and windows connection manager was created by alanwjackson
Windows Event log service, dhcp tcp/ip netbios and windows connection manager services start cashing when we start the ETL
The event log view becomes corrupt and unusable
We rename the Application log in the event view then the 4 services stop crashing for a while
We cannot determine the cause, and are looking reasons or solutions.
Any ideas as to why ETL might be corrupting the Windows event logs?
Has this been reported?

We had similar problems with one of our computers which may or may not be related to our software.
This guide for Microsoft helped us to resolve the issue.

Doing the rename solves the immediate issue, however it keeps happening every few days.
We feel pretty confidant that the etl is causing the issue, because it doesn't happen until we put the etl on a server.
the issue stops when etl is inactivated, the issue restarts when etl is restarted.
this cause and effect has happened on 3 servers

Hi Alan.
Thank you for the feedback.
We have reproduced the problem.
It affects the 64-bit version only.
If you download and install the software again it should fix the issue.

we are running the 32 bit versions on 64b servers, because one of our main odbc databases can only support 32b
all my errors are from 32b etl on 64b Microsoft server OS
