Hi,
I was wondering how AETL handles the data in Excel workbooks that are based on formulas and if it forces a refresh before capturing data or if the data is the last saved version of the workbook?
We have a workbook that has formulas that in fact from an Add-In that collects data from an online service. I experimented by using AETL to connect to the workbook and the a sheet that has these formulas and it returned data which was is great. But I am wanting to collect this data with nobody manually refreshing the sheet and I am wondering how AETL is collecting the data and if the data is or can be refreshed at the time we open the workbook?
Thanks in advance

It uses the data of the last saved version of the workbook.
It does not recalculate the formulas.

I am not familiar with excel internals but I wonder of that would be possoble somehow. I know it would be dependent on a lot of things but just a thought for a package action.

Well...
We do not use excel so will not be able to implement automatic refresh or recalculation.
