TOPIC: Reader isn't reading a Google Spreadsheet source

Reader isn't reading a Google Spreadsheet source 2 months 4 weeks ago #18965

Application Name - Advanced ETL Processor
Version number - 6.3.4.5 (Trial)
Operation system version - Windows Server 2016
Database version - Google Spreadsheet source
Repository type - SQL Server 2017 Express
All the symptoms of the Problem :

1. Successfully authorized the Google Spreadsheets connection
2. The Reader can see the correct Google sheet

Issue is the Reader does not actually return any data currently loaded to the sheet. Attachments include a doc file which contains screenshots of the Reader object screens and a spreadsheet which is an Excel download of the Google Spreadsheet.

Getting an error that I have to provide the Google Spreadsheet name. It appears the Refresh button does not load the spreadsheet names from the Google portal into the drop down. Putting in the spreadsheet name with or without the hex identifier shown in the portal for the sheet makes no difference. In addition - in a previous version of the software there was a place to load the Gid however that is not available either. What am I supposed to be loading to the Spreadsheet name box? Copying and pasting the URL to the spreadsheet also didn't work.

Ok - if you click past the spreadsheet name error - go to the Source Data tab and hit Refresh anyway - it does see the sheet and load the data. So it does work however you have to click through a few soft error messages to get to the point of actually being able to work with the data.
