Lookup Transfomation - Possible to Add (Keep Existing Value)? was created by tdemeza@natrisk.com

So I have a unique situation where I am transforming data in many lookup tables. The issue is that, if the value I am comparing against is not in the list, I see value in want to Keeping the Existing value. That way I can do queries on the data, find and replace, then correct the transformation. I can also look at the log files to find the issues that are not transforming.

This would be an additoinal radio option on the Error Handling tab. In the control group When Value Not Found. "Keep existing value" and then I would use the Write message to log file.

Thank you.

This can be done by using the default value and "Is Equal To" transformation

Here is forum topic describing it (It is a quite a long one)
