Add a Calculated Column to a Writer was created by bruce.gibbins
I would like to know how to add a calculated column to a Writer Output. For example the Reader may have 2 columns A & B but we want to write out a calculation of A + B to Column C and include A, B And C in the output. Some screen shots would help.
I have been able to create a Calculated Transformation to generate column C and I have directed the Calculation to a Field (in this case it is called [F4] but I am unable to a) Rename the Field and make it stick and the Writer will output a new column/field called [F4] but it has no values.
Thanks in advance
