Data Connection Problem

V 6.1.0.0
Trying to create a report - in the data panel, I create the connection to the SQL server and database - I test and it works. But when I tried to run the query I get an error - See attached
I tried creating the report with the wizard and it worked but after running the report couple of times the above happens. If you need additional information please let me know

The connection details are taken from connection properties.

The real problem happens when you try to pick a data source from the drop-down list. Experience the same problem in creating a SQL or creating a report (please see the attached). I guess it could be a bug returns to version 6. I have not seen such a thing using the older versions.
