Cannot remove a field from Tranformer process following change on required output format

Cannot remove a field from Tranformer process following change on required output format was created by trally
In the original reader/Transformer /Writer setup there were 21 fields read from an Excel input file.
Final output record layout required dropping of one of the input fields - field 18.
After changing the transformer template successfully, I could not find a process to remove the field reference from the Reader set-up of the input fields.
The Excel input file had been changed to drop the column that was no longer required for inclusion in the output record.
As a result of the field still being present, data is allocated to that field and the resulting field /data relationship is not correct.
I have attached screen shots of the Reader and Transformer details and repository -. the filed name is FECHABAJA
I trust there is a process to remove the data element from the Reader layout

Hi Mike
Thank you for the prompt reply -
When I look at the Transformer and Writer objects there are not the options you have highlighted.
I have attached screen shots of what I see in trying to do what you suggest - may be it is the way that the Transformer and Writer are set up to generate the Json records that stops the options being available you have highlighted. - these were set up initially to implement the required Jason record structure.
In the Transformer screen shot I thought the left set of field elements were from the Reader - is it the set-up of the Writer that is the cause of this issue?
The Repository I sent previously still valid for this topic.
Regards .

I am sorry I was confused and posted data writer picture
Anyway Same principle apply to data reader.
We do have short video tutorials dedicated to working with reader and writer
You may find them useful
