ETL Tool objects or components

There is a question here. Please imagine we have an SMTP connection which is called "E01" and we want to realize where it is being used.For example in which packages?! Is there any solution to discover components dependencies?

The only way to do it right now is by analyzing execution logs.

We have more than 70 packages and 5 SMTP connections that use for sending out emails. Now we have a problem with one of our mail servers and have to replace one of the SMTP connection with the others in packages. But we have no idea how we can find right places!

The other need is when we have some useless objects and want to delete them.We cannot make sure they are not being used anywhere!

It is is not easy thing to implement so it will take some time
