Mike or Peter:
Using 5.7.8.0.
Am importing data from text files and am trying to limit what goes to the writer to records that are 30 or more days past due. Both the validator and the transformation have a Date Diff function, but they seem to only show the absolute difference between two dates. When I tried earlier today it seemed as though switching the inputs from F001 to F002 always resulted in a positive number. Tried to use the Date to Epoch function together with the Date Diff function as well, but the results were not familiar to me. That process did result in both positive and negative numbers when switching between F001 & F002. In any event, the Date Diff function doesn't have the option to reject records.
Is there a Date Diff function that "on error" would have an option to reject records that are less than 30 days (or any other number of days)?
Was mostly exporting to Excel in the past, but have started to export to Access recently. Took me a while to set it up, but it's working great now. Wonderful program you guys have put together.
