Check Date object giving incorrect result was created by Carl A
Greetings Gentlemen,
I run a small package to backup up my repository using the agent. I put the Check Date Object(with weekday selected) at the beginning to stop it from running on the weekend. It still runs on the weekend and the log shows it as a weekday. After this occurred, I looked into the transformation function "If Weekday" and "If Weekend". These functions also appear to be giving the wrong results. I have attached a zip with the package log and screen shots of checkdate setting, backup package, and transformation I tested with. If you need any more information please let me know.

Thank You,
Carl

The Check Date object is running correctly, as is the "If Weekend" function, but the "If Weekday" function is still giving the wrong answer. Also, the "Is Weekday" function appears to be incorrect now. I have attached screen shots of the test transformation.
Thank you for your usual quick response and service,

Carl,
I think this is because wrong date format was specified for Is Week Day function
Can you read this one please, it can help you to understand how it works.

I have tested more and understand date formats pretty well. I still believe you need to look at "Is Weekday" and "If Weekday". I have included an image of a test with the properties showing matching date formats. This is not crucial to my projects, I am just trying to provide information to you guys.
Thanks,
Carl

Thank you
We appreciate your feedback
See pictures below
BTW there is no need to use format date function if the date is already in this format
