ETL agent not running scheduled tasks periodically was created by et62962003
Hi,
The ETL agent, even though running, sometimes stops running scheduled tasks from time to time. Whenever this happens, I need to manually stop and re-start the agent and then it will run the schedules that it hasn't run. This actually happens to the current and all of the previous versions of the ETL tool. Is there any idea on this issue?
Application Name: Advanced ETL Processor Enterprise
Version number: 5.7.6.28
All the symptoms of the Problem: etl agent stops running scheduled tasks from time to time
Exact steps required to reproduce it: none
Operation system version: Windows 7 Professional SP1
Database version: SQL Server 2012

In the same directory as the agent you should have file called execution.log
Can you post the content of this file here please.

Attached please find the file. The thing is that I need to manually stop and start the agent and then it will run. Any reason for that?
Also, the ETL Processor software is installed in a utility box to which I use my Active Directory account to login. The ETL agent windows service is installed under my connection. However, I already gave the windows service the local account privilege.
Thanks.

That means that the agent is not able to connect to the repository.
Stop the agent.
Delete the execution.log file
start the agent.
Let it run fro a while.
check execution.log for similar messages
