5.7.6.7 issue connecting with MySQL?

I installed 5.7.6.7. I am unable to connect a new transformation writer to MySQL. I get this error:



I can edit any writer that existed prior to 5.7.6.7. I cannot create a new writer and get this error. I can do everything but select a table to write to.

I have rechecked the connections and that works.

Were you able to reproduce this or do I need to keep trying to figure out what is wrong / different with my configuration/

Are you able select a table?

Does it work with small tables?

Sorry - I did not see the notification.

It failed at the table selection step. I worked around it by copying an existing transformation and changing the table. Now when I try it does work. The only thing different is several reboots. I did a reboot prior to reporting the issue and there was still an issue.

I will follow up if I can get it to reoccur.
