Encoding problem was created by rudolfsun
Hi

Were being sent a file that contains Japanese characters, were assured its being sent as UTF-8, however when I use the ETL tool to select it as UTF-8 it corrupts all the characters. The same happens with all of the encoding options. When I open the file in Excel and choose UTF-8 it works perfectly.

Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong?

thanks
