Excel into Oracle - corrupting characters was created by rudolfsun
Hi were importing Chinese and Japanse characters into the database from Excel.
Weve noticed its changing the values from their original utf-8 character to a question mark. The database is setup correctly as we can insert through access and use the ETL tool for csv and txt. However when it comes to xlsx it seems to not recognise the encoding. We are using Oracle 11.
Is there a setting we have missd?
thanks
attached is the file and the corruptions
