Drill Down Reports

I am sure you think I am quite annoying already… sorry!

I have put together a report that includes some drill down capability – this is a great feature as it could deliver a compact report to the user. The problem now is that the report file save options only seem to allow PDF as an option and even if I open the report in the designer preview window I still find only a limited number of export options. I did see that I can get the FastReport Viewer (free) that would help users take advantage of the drill down capabilities if there was an option available to export as *.fp3 or *.fp4. I tried specifying the report file save as *.fp3 but the file that is generated is no good.

Any thoughts or input on this?

That was addressed in version 4.2.3.7

Support for Cross tab reports was introduced
Report Export format was extended

I just created an fp3 output file and then attempted to open it using the report reader/viewer available from FP. I seem to be having a problem with the drill down feature though - when I use the report preview directly in ETL Processor the drill down works fine but after generating the fp3 file and opening in the viewer the drill down does not work.

If you preview it from designer than save it and open report reader/viewer
