Copying a project error restoring backup

Copying a project error restoring backup was created by Frank
1) I have multiple projects that are identical except for the directories and SQL connections. To speed the setup process for new projects, I would like to just copy an entire existing project, and then paste it so that all I have to do is change the connections. Is this possible?
2) I backed up my repository before I started to make changes (actually trying to do what is above), and when I started to get a lot of errors (such as "unable to create key 'SOFTWARE\DB SOftware Laboratory\Advanced ETL\MAP'), I tried to restore the old project, but, I am now getting a number of errors where there weren't any before (the error above is the example).

Yes t is possible
Tools=>restore project (use new name)
Make a full backup of the repository first

Are logged in as local administrator?

Regarding 2, yes, I am logged as a local administrator. I have also tried to clear the repository, and then restore from the backup again, but, same error comes up when I try to close any transaformation. I can open then and look, the error appears when I try to close. then, another error appears if I try to open a second time. This error is "A component named IMportScriptsFrm4114 already exists"
I did just upgraded to the latest version of ETL Processor

You get this message when software tries to write settings into
SOFTWARE\DB SOftware Laboratory\Advanced ETL\MAP
Registry key
It is probably because you
1) have not got enough user rights to create registry keys
2) You are using windows vista or win 7 and registry virtualization is enabled for SOFTWARE\DB SOftware Laboratory\ key

I am using windows 7. How do I deal with "registry virtualization"?

Regarding 1, I don't see how I can restore the project with a new name. When I select the project from the backup, it just overwrites the existing project. I don't see a "Save as" or Rename option anywhere.
