Reduce columns on Read was created by downing
Good morning everyone,
Pretty sure this is a stupid question but I can't find a good solution for me
Initial situation:
An Excel file with 10 columns.
But I need only 5 of them.
The reader reads everything.
Where do I reduce to the 5 columns?
Do I create a file with the 5 columns and then read it in?
Do I reduce in the Transformer or Validator?
Thanks in advance
Thomas

Well, we have solutions for everything, and even when the solution does not exist we will create one for you.
Please have a look at the fields selector
wiki.etl-tools.com/docs/advanced-etl-pro...ata/fields-selector/
This would be the fastest and easiest option
