Hi,

I am preparing to update to the new ATE version 5.3.4.12.
With the new version I want to distribute the licenses via Licensing server.

To test the update, I installed ATE 5.3.4.12 and License server 1.0.1 on my device.
I added the site license in Licensing server and tried to register ATE.

In the ATE registration window I only entered the Licensing server information:

When I click on "Get License Information from the server", I get an http error:

Do you have an idea, what could cause this error?

Best Regards

Julian

Thank you. Without the last slash it works.

Hi,

i looked at version 5.3.4.12 and was disappointed.
To get the license from a server it is still necessary to have administrator rights - or am I wrong?
However, our ATE users do not have the rights!
The use of the license server would be useless for us, although that's a great idea.
If I store the license centrally, why do I still have to have administrator rights to use it?
For us, and I think also for other companies, the procedure in this version is of no help. Because the "REGISTER" function is no longer available at command level, the distribution of a new license has become as good as impossible.
Is there a chance to solve this satisfactorily for many users in the short term?

Hi Klaus

I am confused about your complaint.
Are you receiving any errors?
What makes you think that you need administrator rights.
