Suggestions for improvement

Hi,

i want to make some suggestions to improve ATE:

1. A long time ago i had already suggested to make the ATE multilingual.
How is that?

2. Possibility for a site license to store centrally instead the licensing for each installation to make individually. This would be save a lot of time.

3. Possibility of individual row heights and font resizing.
Many users is the table view much too small.

4. Possibility of calling an item directly by using the exe. Example:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\DB Software Laboratory\Active Table Editor\ATEditor.exe" User=XXXXXX;Password=XXXXXX;Item=XXXXXX
In this case the outlook bar should be not visible.
Thus, the integration into existing systems would be much more successful, as targeted with the minimally necessary table can be addressed.


I would be very happy (and i think many other users too) if these suggestions were implemented.

3 and 4 should be easy to implement,
1 and 2 is a completely different story.

I am satisfied with the implementation of sections 3 and 4.

For point 3: I had the idea to reach the options
on the button "File" in the following form:






If that could be implemented that would be really great!

Could someone say something about the points 1 and 2?

It is is already doing everything you need Am I missing something?

Hi Mike,

if possible our users should not be able to make changes in the repository definitions (main options).
But to use the built-in Options in this way, i have to show them the change mode for all options. I would like to avoid this. Therefore, my proposed amendment.
